In most hospitals, clinical care, operations, data, economics and people are managed on different axes — each with its own indicators, meetings and owners. The value of a surgical journey is created, and lost, between them. ONE AXIS aligns those dimensions around a single axis: value. Clinical. Operational. Economic. One Axis: Value.
Six principles

- Independence before sponsorship.Our recommendations follow evidence, not commercial incentive. A diagnostic may end in NO-GO.
- Implementation before presentation.Change is proven in practice, in the ward, before it is presented in a slide.
- Value before volume.More surgery is not the goal. Better outcomes, better flow and better economics are.

Physician, anesthesiologist and perioperative medicine specialist; MD, MBA, PhD and Livre-Docente. Postdoctorate at Harvard.
Led surgical pathway transformations from inside private hospitals, across multiple surgical lines, with baselines, cost data and multidisciplinary teams. That experience is the origin of the ONE AXIS method.
MBA in Business Management. Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Anextesia, a physician-led anesthesia organization. Founder of the International Network to Improve Perioperative Care Academy (INIPC Academy).
Professor Livre-Docente at UNIFESP; Associate Professor of Anesthesiology at UTMB (Galveston, USA); author of multiple peer-reviewed articles on Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS).
Director-Secretary of the World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists (WFSA); Director of International Relations of the Brazilian Society of Anesthesiology (SBA) (2021–2024); President of ERAS Brazil (2024–2026).
At ONE AXIS the Founder is steward of the methodology, owner of executive relationships, final reviewer in claims governance and lead for strategic partnerships. He is not the daily project manager: the ONE AXIS system — method, evidence discipline, governance and a credentialed bench — carries delivery.
